How it Works

Choose Your Box

You have a choice: Wig or no wig. Our monthly themes include a matching wig, but if you’re not into that you can choose your box with no wig.

Boxes are Shipped Monthly

New orders are shipped within 10 days. Subscriptions are shipped at the top of every month. You get a new theme inside every box.

Create your look!

Use the items to create a unique character makeup. Follow the included makeup challenge or do your own thing. You are the artist!

Exciting Products

You’ll see familiar brands as well as smaller brands and artisans. We aim to include a product from a black owned business inside every box.

Inside the Box

You’re getting sponges and brushes, eye products, lip products, face products, accessories like hair clips and jewelry, and specialty items to complete your ideas.

Makeup Challenge

Need a little help with ideas? The makeup challenge is like a prompt or short story to help get your creative juices flowing. Visit the blog for tutorials and more.

My 14 yr old daughter loved this 3 month subscription!! She cosplays and liked that a wig comes in each box. Great quality wigs and comes with instructions. I never had a problem with shipping delays or anything. It is a perfect gift for cosplayers. She is always excited to receive a new box (getting a teenager a good gift is almost impossible!!) I highly recommend this and I will probably renew the subscription.

I absolutely loved this service! I had tried a few different sfx makeup services as an aspiring artist and NME box was truly the best I could find. Customer service was always prompt and quick. The box had full sized products and comes ready to make a complete special effects look, with enough product left over to use over and over on many other personal projects.
